Stephen is a Chartered Accountant and CEO of Openside, one of New Zealand's fastest growing accounting consulting firms. Stephen has a passion for making an impact on the performance of businesses. Stephen formerly worked for Fairfax Media, AMP Financial Services, AXA Funds Management and Citicorp. Stephen has appeared on TV recently advising businesses on cashflow. Stephen joined Openside in October 2006 and is working with clients to enhance their successfulness. Stephen has a young family and enjoys spending time with them.

Debbie has been a Chartered Accountant since 2004. Debbie previously worked for Deloitte where she practiced business advisory and taxation services to SME businesses. Debbie also has experience in management accounting roles through various secondments to clients. Debbie particularly enjoys doing financial modelling and valuations. When she isn't busy at work she enjoys a variety of sports, including wake boarding, snowboarding, mountain biking and swimming. Debbie joined us in October 2006.

Amy is a Client Accountant with Openside. Amy joined Openside in April 2007 and is enjoying working towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. Amy would like to begin Master of Management studies at Victoria University in 2008. Amy enjoys watching movies, jogging, cycling and playing squash. Amy's baking is absolutely delicious and we love it when she brings baking into the office.

Matt Stevens is a Client Accountant with Openside.

Debbie West is a Client Accountant with Openside. Debbie joined Openside in January 2008. Debbie has been working in the financial services industry since 1991. Previously Debbie worked for Norwich Life and AMP where she specialised in corporate superannuation and KiwiSaver. Debbie has worked with a wide range of companies from small businesses through to large corporates. In her spare time Debbie enjoys spending time with her young family and scrapbooking.

Carol Coutts is a Client Accountant with Openside. Carol joined Openside in February 2006. Carol previously worked in a Chartered Accounting firm in Far North mainly focusing on farm accounting. In 2008 Carol took a year off to travel and work in the UK for Play.com and Royal bank of Canada as project manager. Carol is fluent in spoken Cantonese and enjoys studying Chinese poetry and Taekwondo. She hopes to gain her black belt in the near future.

Hamish Edwards is a Chartered Accountant and Chairman of the Board of Openside. Hamish is passionate about business success. In recent times, Hamish has worked with New Zealand's leading technology entrepreneurs as their Virtual CFO.
